Why does the world have borders?

Why does the world have borders? That's a good question. Personally, i have never pondered that myself. It's, in a sense, the same reason why we all have different houses to live in. The United States has been claimed the most prosperous country in the world, but what makes it different than the rest? Well, for one the way the United States is run. Our government is a lot more fair than many other countries. Also, we are NOT a poor country. But, if we are so great, then why don't we share our wealth with the rest of the world? Every single person has a right to their own opinion. And in my opinion i think it has to do with selfishness. Of course there are organizations that fund to help those in need but we could be doping a lot more. The world was created without borders, so why have them now? To separate opinions, to keep from one country messing up the next. Who really knows? Sometimes it seems borders are unnessacery but what if we didn't have them? How would we be able to know that we are safe? If we didn't have borders than we wouldn't have seperate countries and without separate countries we wouldnt have an orderly government system. So one person would be manning the whole world and that wouldn't nessacerly work out. In the end, borders are a good thing to have but we need to sort out our priorities and find out why we put them there in the first place.

How does the U.S harm Mexico? How does Mexico harm the U.S?

Mexico and the United States, both very different countries separated by a wall known as the border. Because these two countries are so close they both affect each other. Sadly, it's not always in a positive way. Mexico and the United States both harm each other in many different ways. For instance, illegal immigration. This affects the United States negatively because the illegal immigrants get jobs, free education and alot of things that U.S citizens would normally end up paying for. Also, Mexicans have smuggled illegal weapons, drugs and even people over the border. The United States has also caused Mexico harm. The United States has a tendency to discriminate those who have crossed the border, whether legal or illegal. There have been cases where Mexicans who were here legally were not able to get a job due to the racism of job owners. Also, the United States pollutes a lot. Because Mexico is so close, they get a lot of the pollution we make. Therefore making Mexico suffer from pollution of water and air. Not only that but the United States makes it hard for mexicans to cross the border legally. There's so much paperwork you need to get done and some people just don't have enough money.
